bluetooth not working on kde plasma desktop. I wrote some notes for installing bluetooth. It worked on my endeavour os but not here in pure arch linux. yay -S bluedevil sudo systemctl enable bluetooth sudo systemctl start bluetooth sudo vim /etc/bluetoooth/main.conf and go all the way down and change autoenable = true kde-plasma friendly: https

We don't know what drivers you are running, if you had 3rd party plasmoids etc. We don't know what if any steps you have take to try to get things running in a satisfactory manner. As posted earlier, if you really want to get rid of Plasma, the only way to do it-is to use the now unsupported KDEmod3.5. Offline. Manjaro ARM. Manjaro ARM is an Arch based distribution with support for a wide range of single board computers, ARM laptops and phones. Manjaro ARM currently offers Bigscreen images for Odroid N2 and N2+, Radxa Zero 2, RockPro64, Raspberry Pi 4, Khadas Vim 1 and Khadas Vim 3. I told you that I don’t use KDE anymore right now. So I can’t say for sure WHERE this setting can be found. Maybe someone will get in touch here who can describe it more precisely. I will not install extra KDE on my computer because of this, sorry. If you go through all the settings, you will inevitably come across this.

I couldn't find any way to get kwallet off my system. There are some dependency issues and pacman won't let you remove the package. However I managed to avoid the irritating pop ups.

remove account name(to delete the corresponding account) an autologin group to which the created guest account must be added (cf. /etc/pam.d/lightdm-autologin) There are two AUR packages that enable guest sessions in lightdm: lightdm-guest AUR which provides the (largely unmodified) upstream guest-session script as well as lightdm itself. I was fetching the same problem after a fresh install of KDE plasma. After a lot of digging in, I found the solution, but I don't know which package is specifically solving the problem. In the first hand install or reinstall the packagekit and packagekit-qt5.

igorepst. • 2 yr. ago. In addition to the answer above, you don't need to uninstall sddm before you set all the things you want. Issue sudo systemctl disable --now sddm and restart Xorg to temporarily disable loading sddm. Replace 'disable' with 'enable' to load it again. r/usenet.
Install KDE Neon - all the latest in KDE/Plasma with none of the bloaty apps. KDE is considered a medium-light distro. It is also one of the faster distros. If your system can't handle KDE, then you need to consider using a distro with XFCE or Mate Desktop.
Posts: 118. I would do this first. pacman -Rnsc kde-applications kde-games kde-education kde-utitities. then remove orphans pacman -Rs $ (pacman -Qtdq) check what display manager you use if sddm you need to start somehow you i3 I use lightdm or xinit for this. Then you can try remove plasma, and try to reboot. In the main menu, select Settings and the category you want to customize. Categories are programs usually located in /usr/bin/xfce4-* and /usr/bin/xfdesktop-settings. xfce4-settings-editor can see and modify all settings. Options modified here will take effect immediately. Use xfconf-query to change settings from the commandline; see the Pacman handles arch packages from arch repos Yay/paru are AUR helpers which wrapp the pacman it means can handle arch repos plus aur packages. Discover can ensure upgrades of themes, sddm, icon sets etc. which are not part of arch packages and aur. It was installed by KDE settings manager. It is long time when I used KDE. My KDE/Plasma5 is broken. for some three weeks now. One very obvious problem is that it has no lower panel. There are other problems as well. I have tried all sorts of approach to get the lower panel back, all to no avail. My last attempt was to uninstall the KDE/Plasma5 and then re-install it. Hi Eric , how r u doing? i hope everything is going good with you and all other arco linux staff. i installed plasma and deepin and mate desktop just to have fun as you said , but because i have slow internet connection , i am having too much update, i want to keep my basic lxqt desktop only i tried to do UhEm8Q.
