4. Sep 10, 2022. #1. A week ago in Portugal my 2016 model 2.3 multi jet Ducato powered down completely whist cruising a autoroute in my Hymer motorhome. Rescued and taken to a Fiat garage who ran a diagnostic check and suggested there is a P0340 fault. The garage is unable to do the work and the vehicle has to be repatriated to the UK.
On several occasions over the last year, our 2015 Pilote Fiat Ducato 2.3 Multijet 150 Motorhome has completely lost power. The issue seemed temporary and didn't log any issues in the Onboard Diagnostics system. I had it checked out at a local garage but no problem was found.
Points. 1. Aug 19, 2020. #1. Fiat Ducato X250 2008 3.0 160. Following intermittent problems with the dreaded P0638 and having found the throttle body to be badly corroded inside, I have now replaced it with new a like for like replacement. The fault code was clear and not showing prior to the replacement, however it is registering all of the (edit - The new part is date coded year 2021 which probably explains a supercede to that I took off) Turbo Boost Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Fiat part number 0055269482 – 001, inside the Fiat box is the OE spec valve part number 55269482 and 7.03003.09 which is Pierburg price £ 45.87 , of the hundreds of valves on Ebay Pierburg, none are Hi on my 2007 2.3 multijet Ducato one of the pipes that connects the EGR valve to the exhaust has just failed for the 4th time in 2 years. This must be being caused by something else. Does anyone know any potential causes to look for/ get the garage to check?
